Hello all,

High school group is on! Come and join us every Thursday night at 6:30 in the ORB Basement for a great time of hanging out, meeting new friends, eating some delicious food, playing some silly games, singing some songs, and hearing about God's amazing love for you and the world. If you are in high school, you are more than welcome...whoever you are, whatever you believe, whatever you've done, and wherever you are in life. All we can say is come and see!

Notes:
1. If you are out of high school and college aged, go to the Young Adult Group. It is awesome and on Tuesday nights.
2. If you are not yet in high school, go to Middle School Group. It is also awesome, but on Wednesday nights.
3. Feel free to come at 6:00 or whenever and hang out...we're there playing farkle, Wii, 500, or something.

Hey all. We hope that you are having a good summer so far! Make sure you do that summer reading (and possibly summer math, history, and science...you should get a jump on the rest of your classmates! Can you do summer gym?). Summer ORB is a little different, so beware! It starts at 6:00 and for the first hour/hour and a half, we will be watching various movies and talking about what they say/mean/impact our faith. Then at around 7:30, we have a different fun activity! We'll have board game nights, fun movie nights, paint the wall nights, game nights, etc. It's less structured than "during-the-year-ORB" and there is NO DINNER SERVED! See you on Thursday, and around!

We're still here...just haven't updated this here blog thingy in a while...ORB is great. You should come to it. Thursday nights, 6:30. You should be here. Anyway, here's some news for ya:

1. The Spring Retreat is going to be from April 13-15. We'll have more info for you about it as it comes nearer and nearer and nearer. But, clear your calendars so that you can come and have the best weekend of your life. We all but promise.

2. S.W.A.N.N. is coming! FEBRUARY 16! 7:00-10:30! You like video games? Then you and all of your friends should come to Super Wicked Awesome Nintendo Night. It's super wicked awesome. Video games, fun, food, DDR, Guitar Hero 1 and 2...if you don't like video games, then you can join in on the knitting fun in the knitting room. You can also join in on the kickboxing fun in the kickboxing room.

3. Hey, you! If you want to learn a little more about who Jesus is and what the heck he did on earth and about who we are and about how much he loves us, then come to LOGOS! It's a Bible study on the Gospel of Matthew. Intern Josh leads it. He's super tall in height and wisdom. Come learn! Sundays at 3:30.

4. You wanna be in a small group? I think you should too. Contact any leader about it, and they'll get you situated.

Hello all! Keep checking here for any and all announcements that we have for you guys. This will be the place to go for news, updates, and the like. Here you go:

1. F.O.R.B.E.S. Show is tonight at the church, 7PM, $10. Loads of fun and bands. Bombtown, the RingOut, many more...

2. THE FALL RETREAT IS COMING UP ! ! ! Whoo Hooo! ! ! ! It'll be October 27-29 at Montrose Bible World in the Poconos. It'll cost $115, but if you cannot afford it,come talk to us. We'll figure something out for you. Don't let a lack of funds be the reason that you don't have the best weekend of your life(so far). This leads me into the next announcement...

3. PARENTS NIGHT is Sunday, October 1 after the worship service(6:30ish). If your parents have never met us, think we are weird, are skeptical of the group, have no idea what an ORB is, need a night out, question our ability to destroy a plastic Santa Claus, think ORB is the best and want to give us all high-5's, then tell them to come to PARENTS NIGHT. All of their "is this place safe?", "what do you do on retreats?", "what's the meaning of life?", "what's to be done about this Homer Simpson?" type questions can and will be answered! And we give them your ORB report cards! (just kidding...we never snitch on kids to parents.)

4. SMALL GROUPS are alive and kickin'. If you want to be in one, and you should want to be in one because they are totally awesome, talk to a leader of the similar sex as you.

5. FLAG FOOTBALL is played every Saturday morn' at the RBC practice field on White Rd. in Little Silver. Be there. 10:30. Yeah.

6. I CAN'T THINK of anything else, but check back here for all your info.

Hello all you crazy kids...high school ORB starts this Thursday! Freak out! Dinner, fun, hanging out, games, talking, etc! 6:30 in the basement. Be there!

First, THERE IS NO DINNER BEING SERVED DURING THE SUMMER. So eat beforehand or whatever. We'll probably have snacks and soda though...if, and it's a big if, you behave.

Second, ORB STARTS AT 6:00 DURING THE SUMMER...sort of. Jared and Michelle will be leading an hour long Bible study from 6-7. It will be fun, entertaining, artistic, and engaging so you should definitely come and be a part of it. You will definitely learn something about Jesus and maybe even about yourself.

Third, ORB ACTIVITY TIME STARTS AT 7:00 DURING THE SUMMER. You ask, "what's ORB activity time?" Well, it's whatever we feel like each week. This week we'll be playing board games and stuff(Scrabble anyone?) but each week will be different and more exciting until it gets so exciting that we have to stop and go back to normal ORB(which will also get too exciting). During this time, you'll be free to grab slurpee's, coffee, grab a friend or a leader and go for a chat, sing some songs, whatever. Bring your freinds for a laid back, yet super intense time.

Fourth, it'll go until about 9:00 at which point we will violently kick you out.

Fifth, we love you all and we hope that you are having a truly terrific summer.

Sixth, come to the worship service over the summer, it's awesome! 5:00 at the church on Sundays!

Hey you crazy kids, how are you all. I'm excited for Thursday, as I'm sure all of the leaders are...I hope you are too! It'll be a great night, but they're all great nights, right? I've loved that it has been nice out and I can walk into Red Bank and see 40 of you on a weekend night. Keep hanging out with each other, getting to know people, and bringing them to ORB! It's awesome.

Speaking of bringing people to ORB, the prom is coming...it could be your chance to invite new people and bring them to a place where pirates and princesses are accepted alike. In order to prepare for the prom, we are meeting at 11:00AM on Saturday in the basement to start building stuff, painting stuff, and dreaming up stuff. We'll be there for most of the day(at least until 5:00) and we'll probably order pizzas or something, so bring a few bucks for almuerzo(lunch). We need as much help as we can get, so come one, come all! We'll see you Thursday, and Saturday, and Sunday!

Hello hello! Welcome to the ORB blog of sorts...look here for updates, insights, etc. High School ORB has been going great. It is a total blast. We just had a Nintento night, a girls lock-in, and of course the Spring retreat. All were total fun, thanks to you all! Give yourselves a hand.

We've got all kinds of events coming up and ideas for the summer! Stay tuned, be excited, invite your friends. Check the events page for all of the latest.

Small groups are awesome, and growing! We have a slew of small groups now. There's one gigantic girls small group that meets at 5:30 on Tuesdays at Christian and Michelle's apartment. Go to it(if you're a girl). There's three different guys groups going on as well. A guys group meets at Matt and Amanda's apartment at 5:0 on Tuesdays, right next to the girls group. Another group also meets at 5:30 on Tuesday in the ORB basement for newer guys. Talk to Let Matt Littlebeard or Jonesy about that one. There's also one at 9:30 on Saturday morning at Juan and Jared's apartment. Talk to Juan or Jared about that one. We will try to start up more and more so that everyone can be in one. If you want to be in one and can't make it to one of those times, let Jared know that you are interested.
